UK armed forces recruits to be asked if they are Tory

Pride's Purge

Recruits to the British armed forces will be asked whether they are Tory in a move to improve diversity in the military.

The measure has been introduced in a bid to foster greater tolerance within the armed forces, which have allowed Tory soldiers to openly serve since 2000, but recruits will be allowed to ‘prefer not to say’ if they prefer.

The shock move by the MoD comes not long after a psychiatrist in the US claimed people with ‘Tory feelings’ could be ‘cured’ by therapy if properly motivated.
